ANyways the parts guy told me to do it dry(its a paper seal not a rubber like the front timing cover seal you do that dry i know but he told me to do the rearmain seal dry as well. used the supplied metel "depth setter tool" and the plastic guid that guides it on the crank. It is something i would definitely recommend replacing when you are in there. I pulled the old one out with a slick snapon seal puller then cleaned the crank off with a rag and put the new one on dry. Hey Everyone, This is a video i promised along with my Nv4500 Swap videos.
